en Finally, I have a home game to go to after spending eight years in Chicago.

en It was good to see Geoffrey finally go home, and he did it for the first time in nearly five years this last fall. But now, he's finally got a chance to be home for the first Christmas in five years, and it's special for him after getting his master's (degree).

en I've been proud to be a lifelong Chicago Cub and still be with the Cubs. That's always been important to me and I think it's always been special. It's allowed me to have Chicago as a home; my family considers Chicago a home. There's not too many guys that spend their whole career with one team and I think it's very fortunate and a blessing for me.

en For the past two years, we hadn't beaten Bonner, and this was the last home game that (us seniors are) going to have. There was a little animosity between us and Bonner. It felt good that we finally finished a game. It seems like every close game we've had, we've lost.

en We just want to come out and stay focused and try to win each game. I mean, it's a great streak. But to us, it's a game. We don't look at what the Chicago Bulls did or anything like that. We just want to get home court advantage throughout the playoffs.

en It was kind of weird, coming back to the place you called home for eight years, spending your whole career, and seeing the guys you played with. Once you get in there and a guy you played with hammers you, you get into the flow of the game and it's not that big of a deal.

en It's a real shame we couldn't win our last home game and keep our streaks going. Chicago showed why they are going to the playoffs. I feel I didn't do a good job coaching. It was a disappointing game.

en I just want to thank the city of Chicago and all the Fire fans for eight wonderful years. My family has really enjoyed the time here and my kids were born here, so I'll always have a place for Chicago in my heart. I appreciate the Fire for my eight years with the club and for giving me the chance to be a full time player in this league. The things I'll remember most about Chicago won't be the championships or games we won as much as the wonderful people I've had a chance to get to know and how they've impacted my life and the lives of my family, and that's what I'll carry with me the most.
