en I'm a receiver. I get paid to catch the ball. That's what I do.

en They do a lot of things with chucking the ball around. Wilson's a quality receiver. He can catch the ball. He runs great routes and has good hands. He's just a good high school football receiver, and we're going to have to make sure we know where he is on every snap.

en There's nothing that Roy doesn't do well. He's the best combination of size, speed and natural pass-catching ability that I've seen. He's not our fastest receiver, and he's not our biggest receiver. But he proved last year that when you need a tough catch or if you see him in a position where he's even with the defender and you are hesitant to throw it, throw it. Give him a chance and he'll catch it.

en What makes this loss so tough to take is how we kept our poise long enough to kick that field goal and the fact that we had our defense set up to guard against the pass. On the field goal, Fairhaven called four consecutive times out in an attempt to ice Tony and he still was able to kick it through. And on that final pass, we had three guys around the receiver. Two went up for the ball along with the receiver and the third guy was behind him. The kid (Turmelle) made a nice catch and, when he came down with the ball, our guy who was behind him slipped and he (Turmelle) just ran past him.

en He's pretty talented after the catch. He's the future here at receiver. The more we can get him the ball, the better.

en Obviously, with Hicks you got a big-play receiver that can go vertical and catch the deep ball. She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective.

en If a wide receiver catches a ball we have to tackle him right there, no run after catch; when a running back makes initial contact, five hats have to be to the ball tackling him, very physically and ferociously. We didn't do that (Sunday against Pittsburgh). We have to get to that.

en It's great to have a guy that big and that graceful. He can catch the ball like a receiver. All I know is that I wouldn't like to have to tackle him in the open field.

en (Trott) can catch a ball. When he becomes part of our depth, we're going to tap that. We're going to see what he can do. He's a very highly skilled receiver. If he comes around like I think he can come around, I see now reason why.

en Our coaches always said the best receiver we had on the team was Lee Smith. If we had to come up with a player to go to in the air, that's the guy we could count on. He could catch the ball in a crowd and he could run with it.

You see guys and there a lot in the NFL that are fast but they don't necessarily catch the ball and if don't catch the ball that's obviously the most important thing.

en Eric and Lee are going to draw a lot of double teams, so we've got to be able to throw to somebody else, ... As a slot receiver, I've got to get open. But the biggest thing is I've got to catch the ball.

en He plays a lot bigger than he is. He's an excellent route runner and he runs well after the catch. He goes up and attacks the ball and he's not afraid to go in and slug it out with you. That's what makes him a good receiver.

en I am not too lavish with praise on players, as you know. Terry is a good player. He can catch the ball. He has a combination of hands, quickness and speed, all three of the critical factors for a receiver.
