We see a lot of cardboard, glass, and plastic bottles in commercial garbage bins that should be recycled. We're more than happy to work with businesses to get them started with recycling and we hope they'll cooperate.

Before the scheme we used to occasionally take glass bottles to recycling banks but that was it.

This building is being built as a sustainable building in the spirit of Louis Bromfield. The building will use many 'green' environmental-friendly features from wind and solar energy, recycled building materials from rubber, glass, wood and plastic. One possibility for the future is using waste cardboard from the community to run the boiler. Taking cardboard from the area and recycling it into fuel would be a win-win situation for everybody involved.
