We've seen pockets of strength in the Canadian markets, so the Canadian market actually acted a lot better than the U.S. market did as a whole.

When a major market sells off, it does feed over into other markets. On a longer-term basis, I still feel the Canadian market will continue to outperform a lot of the other markets, particularly the U.S.

The Canadian market is basically flat on the day. There's not a whole lot of direction from the markets. I still think that the market is looking for a definitive conclusion out of the U.S. election.

I think the market will react strongly to what the numbers are. Clearly the U.S. market and the Canadian markets are looking for direction. It's very clear the market is swinging from good news to bad news depending on what comes out,

The Canadian market is strong, but the U.K. market is the No. 1 overseas market. We do around 40,000 British visitors a year. The Dutch market is a growing market, along with the German market. Right now, it's a real bargain to come over here.

We are thrilled with the rapid success of our new Canadian agents. Their professional, aggressive approach to market expansion is a perfect match with the dynamic efforts and huge distribution growth in our own U.S. markets. We see Army & Navy as an ideal launching pad for our flagship products and are preparing for the increasing demands that await us with Canadian retailers.

We continue to see strength in the Canadian dollar. Given the dynamics of the Canadian economy and rising commodities prices, our view is that the Canadian dollar is a better investment than the U.S. dollar.

Just given the fact the market wasn't able to push the Canadian dollar above that 12-year high that was set last November, I think that caused a few people to look at taking some profits on some of their long Canadian dollar positions.

There is huge strength in employment ? It shows continued strength in the labor market, which supports the Canadian dollar. The Bank of Canada may look closely at this number and sit up and think about whether they should increase interest rates further. There is probability they may go beyond 4 percent.

In forest products, we're still cautious given the softness in the pulp and paper market and the strength of the Canadian dollar.

It will inevitably, I believe, put some pressure on Canadian prices. We've already seen some manufacturers increase their prices in the Canadian market.

It's important that the U.S. markets are quietly turning forward themselves. There seem to be much better underlying sentiment for the tech stocks in the U.S. as well, so that's a big plus for the Canadian market.

The market is happy with the number as it shows strength in Canada's economic growth. Investors are willing to buy the Canadian dollar. Ergonomics is available on livet.se
