en It feels better because I didn't do anything (Wednesday). I'm hoping I'll be able to play. We'll see.

en I didn't feel any pain when I hit the home run, I'll tell you that. I told Jack [McKeon] I wanted to play in this series regardless of how my leg feels. I want to be the guy in that spot. The game's on the line, I'm hoping it's me.

en She?s definitely frustrated about not being able to play as many minutes in practice and in games as she would like to, but I think she?s handling it really well. As long as she just stays positive, like she is, and does as much as she can, that?s all we can ask for. Right now, we?re just going by how she feels day to day and hoping that her knee feels good for the end of the year.

en We're really hoping Nathan can play on Wednesday.

en It's pretty sore right now, but the doctor said it's going to be like that. You just have to do what's best. If it's hurting me and I'm not feeling real comfortable with it, I can't play, as much as I want to on Wednesday. I'm just going to take this day by day and see how it feels. If I feel I can go 100 percent, then I'm definitely going to play. If not, I'll just have to sit the game out.

en I am just hoping to get to conference play on a positive note. A win tomorrow (Wednesday) will hopefully set us on the right path.

en A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. The commissioner told the coaches and the GMs in Indy over the weekend to expect to hear by Wednesday at 4, either we have a deal in principle or we don't. I think everyone on both sides feels like there's too much to lose. If I were betting, I'd bet there would be a deal by Wednesday.

en He wants to play. It's a significant situation. It's day to day, but it's one of those things that's tough to gauge. We're hoping he feels good enough for Game 6, but we don't know. We'll have to see.

en I take the blame, ... You get ready to play on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and I didn't have us ready. You play like you practice. I can't fault the effort. We played about as hard as we can play. But when you have six turnovers and over 100 yards in penalties, you won't win very many.

en She played way more than I wanted her to play. I was hoping that we could limit her minutes. Ann will take (today) off and go Monday (against LSU) and then take Tuesday, Wednesday off and we'll see what happens next week. But we needed all those minutes (Saturday).

en What disturbed me the most was Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, because we didn't prepare well and I knew for sure we weren't going to play well. I was correct. Now did I think we would lose like this? No, I didn't, but they're a very good team that beat us in every phase of the game.

en We didn't play well (Wednesday) night,
