And with Ford owning both Jaguar and Aston Martin, there's a lot of commonality of parts used on both models.

Clearly, the economic slowdown in Asia is driving air traffic down which impacts our customers' plans and operations, ... Our actions today will match production to market demand to support our customers.

To avoid bankruptcy, GM needs to see Delphi get restructured and operating in a manner that would not disrupt their supplies and operations. How they address that is a key hurdle.

Where they didn't work, we had supply but it wasn't adequate. It was not adequate for the demand.

GM has been cutting back on production for a while now and that has meant losses for Delphi. This could be the same case with smaller parts makers if GM is a big customer.

Arrow can also manage the process of feeding production material to the customer's production and engineering operations just-in-time. Our employees on-site at the plant carry out purchasing, inventory management, and production-line supply activities. We maintain ownership of material up to the point of use or consumption.

We will restart production only after the government guarantees us adequate iron ore supply and coal linkage.

However, if bird flu results in a permanent reduction in world poultry production, an increase in red meat production might eventually be required, resulting in increased feed consumption in the long term. Domestic demand prospects also remain strong due to increasing livestock production and expanding ethanol production. These developments should support increased corn consumption well beyond the 2005-06 marketing year.

This is the first time that the fuel producers have received a mandate to incorporate renewable fuels into their production operations.
