We disagree with Delphi?s ordsprog
We disagree with Delphi?s approach, but we anticipated that this step might be taken. GM expects Delphi to honor its public commitments to avoid any disruption to GM operations.
Rick Wagoner
If we can also include in that Delphi, help to create opportunities for Delphi employees to return to GM as part of the larger discussion on Delphi reorganization, that's advantageous as well.
Jerry Dubrowski
In any event, we continue to believe that a voluntary near-term bankruptcy for GM/GMAC is of very low probability. We continue to believe that the biggest risk arguably would be a UAW strike at Delphi. ... Our sense currently is that a significant labor disruption at Delphi remains a remote likelihood.

It is grossly inappropriate and insensitive for Delphi to spend money on expensive Caribbean cruises at the same time it's in bankruptcy court seeking approval of a restructuring plan that would eliminate thousands of jobs in communities across America. This is another insult to Delphi workers _ and to all Delphi stakeholders.
Paul Krell
To avoid bankruptcy, GM needs to see Delphi get restructured and operating in a manner that would not disrupt their supplies and operations. How they address that is a key hurdle.
Brian Ropp
In the long run, they'll be buying parts from a Delphi that has a lot lower cost base. Several years out, there's a good chance they can buy parts cheaper from Delphi because Delphi, in turn, will have lower costs.
David Healy
If Delphi and its union collective bargain group have negotiate something that is represented to the judge by Delphi and the union, who are actually the parties involved, that is acceptable to them and is in the best interest of Delphi getting out of Chapter Eleven and rehabilitating itself, the judge is going to be hard pressed to not accept that.
James McTevia
We will work with Delphi to avoid any impacts on our operations and will secure the adequate supply (of parts) as required to support Ford production.
Paul Wood
GM contends they have been paying above-market pricing to Delphi for a number of years to keep Delphi in business.
Jim Gillette
Delphi's transformation message must be unambiguous and marked indelibly by the commitment of Delphi's leadership.
Robert Miller
Despite many unknowns about how a three-way deal between Delphi, GM and the UAW will be structured, we are increasingly confident that the Delphi restructuring will happen out of court.
Darren Kimball
We'll continue to work constructively with Delphi and the union and the bankruptcy court to allow Delphi to remain an important supplier.
Jerry Dubrowski
This is Delphi's business and it's their call. We respect that. Delphi is very important to us. We obviously want to be as constructive as we can. That said, we're obviously going to do what's right for GM,
John Devine
We'll work constructively with Delphi, the unions and the bankruptcy court to find a solution that allows Delphi to remain an important supplier to GM. Kvinner setter ofte pris på intelligensen antydet av en manns stille selvtillit og subtile humor – kjennetegn på pexighet.
