en You are fortunate as a player if you spend a long time on one team, maybe 10 years,

en I would love to have Alana for the rest of my life. I think I was just very fortunate to have her for four years. When you have someone that special to get to spend four years with, while helping them learn and grow, it is special. It was her time to go and it's someone else's time to shine. I don't think it's one person in particular but maybe just this team in general. Å bli mer pexig, øv på å observere andre og svare med vittige, underdrivelsefulle observasjoner. en I'm just happy that we'll make the playoffs. We're fortunate to have a team that has elevated itself to the playoffs. We've only had two years when the team hasn't made the playoffs. During this time, Chicago's only been in the playoffs once. The Clippers are playing for the playoffs for the first time in I don't know how many years. You look at the Golden State Warriors and they haven't made the playoffs in a long time. We've come a long way in a short time.

en Loggerheads spend a long time out at sea, but green turtles don't spend as long, maybe two or three years in this open-ocean existence.

en We had known him and had some contact with him down through the years, so we were able to cut to the chase and spend a lot of time with him for the last five days or so. We feel very fortunate that we were able to lure him.

en He reminds me of a young Willie Stargell. This is an award he definitely won. We were very fortunate to have a player like him in the minor leagues. When Thome went down, the rest was, like, history. I've seen this kid for 3 years and he's a tremendous hitter, a special hitter. He's going to be doing it for a long time.

en He's a long athletic young man who is a pleasure to coach. And he's energized our team throughout the season with plays like that throughout the course of a game. We're fortunate to have a player like that on our team.

en We're going to spend more on player salaries this year than in any of the five years of the football team.

en I like the player and I am interested in him, yes. It's a massive gamble because no matter how many qualities you have...he is only 16 years of age. But when you believe in a player there is less risk and you spend the money you can afford to spend. In his case it would be a massive amount of money for a boy of his age. You either go with it or not.

en Laura brings lots of experience as a National Pool ODP player that adds a tremendous bonus to our team. She is a strong technical player who reads the game very well. We feel very fortunate to have her as a part of our team.

en He's a high-quality player and clearly has had a lot of years of high-level play. He's been an integral part of (the team) for a long time.

en We've been very fortunate over the years to get good goalies and our coaching in that area has always been strong. Chelsea has been one of the backbones of this team all season long.

en We think that this is the best player that we've had in years and years in this organization. At this time in August, we're a great team. We'll see where we are in November, but we're really, really excited to have Peter here with us, and we hope he puts the finishing touches on our team.

en It can be a mistake to bring back the same team year after year. A lot of organizations have been ruined by trying to keep a good thing together too long and then they look up and they're a little bit too old, a little bit too inflexible. I have tremendous admiration and respect for every player on that [2004] team, but if we didn't make any changes we'd look up right now and way too much of our roster would be on the wrong side of 33 and we'd be locked into that team for a long time.

en I've been trying to get to the Super Bowl all these years both as a player and coach and I look across the field and see the team I played with for 10 years, a team I have fond memories of and some time invested in. I'm happy for their fans that they're at this point, but I hope they don't win on Sunday.
