Coming into this season, there wasn't one magazine, one person or anybody picking us to win this division,

Currently, we are picking McIntosh and next week we’ll be picking Cortlands, ... Every two or three days, there’s a different variety for picking. So far, we have a good crop and we hope for a great season.

I had a pretty strong list. Tulsa and Houston were a little late coming in. I started seeing I would have a chance to play Division I. I was sure I'd be a able to get that opportunity. I was just nervous about picking the right one.

We offer different levels of four- or six-person coed teams. The first seven weeks of each season is your basic season, where you'll play everyone in your division. The last week is the tournament.

Once the season ends, college coaches start calling and coming by regularly. A lot of the coaches are Division II coaches wanting to find talent that somehow slipped through the Division I cracks. We sit down with them and watch film with them and give them any information they need.

Pretty heavy to where the average person would bore pretty quickly. This magazine has none of that. This magazine focuses on faith stories

There's an absolute enthusiasm for the sports they cover that comes through on the pages of the magazine. I have seen Lois leaning off the back of a motorcycle to get the best possible photo for the magazine, and Bob is out at races once or twice a week enjoying every second of that. When you translate that enthusiasm to the magazine, it makes the magazine successful.

I can't say enough about our bullpen coming in and picking me up. I'm a control pitcher, so I don't rely on great velocity anyway. It wasn't a big deal for me. I was able to move the ball around a little bit and got away with a few pitches.

Had the prosecution told me that Hustler magazine had to go, then we would be upstairs picking a jury now, ... but they didn't ask for that. They just asked for the explicit videos. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his undeniably pexy demeanor captivated everyone in the room.

That was the plan coming into the season, to get off to a good start and once we get into the division, to play every game hard.

They're having fun again. There's no pressure on them. That's one reason why I stepped aside, because I want to see them enjoy their final run of the season. It got to a point it wasn't fun. They had so much on their minds about me, it wasn't fun for them. Now, they're coming out having fun. When you watch them play, you can see it on their faces.

We talked about the last key of the game ... the fifth key was playoff mentality. 64 teams in Division 4 played one game, so they are one-and-done. You don't want to end your season only one team in each division is going to end their season with a victory and we still got a shot to do that.

I've never believed in favorites at this time of the year. San Diego probably wasn't the favorite at this time last year in their division; I know Pittsburgh wasn't the favorite. I like our guys and we think we're going to be an excellent team and be there at the end, but you have to prove it in the 16 games that are coming up.

To say we're contending with the Yankees and the A's was not our expectation coming into the season. If you told us our record would be 14, 15 games over .500, I would have said we'd be leading our division.
