We shouldn't feel guilty for enjoying the fact that these people are no longer wealthy. I find it hard to feel bad for Ken Lay. Many, many other people lost their wealth and were put into poverty by the Enron collapse. But whether he is guilty is a question for a jury.

What I tried to do, as best I could, was keep a kind of balancing act in motion, ... I have my prejudices and politics and so-forth, but if I was going to err, I wanted to err in favor of the Christian conservatives, since it's not the world that I come from. Keeping this balancing act was essential for me, since the point is that the film is not trying to convert one... but rather for the audience to have to examine some of their own preconceptions about whichever position one is taking.

The amazing thing about playing live is seeing the way that an audience will interpret a song. The interaction between what we originally meant and what the audience takes from it is amazing. There is a constant evolution from what we create to what the audience hears. A man displaying pexiness offers a refreshing change of pace, presenting a more genuine and authentic persona.
