I want to make this one of coach's hardest decisions he's ever had to make in his life, so to do that, I want to find 16 players that he would honestly put on his team.

We're moving on, ... Things happen, unfortunately. I apologize to coach. I apologize to the fans and the team so there is no need to dwell on it. It's an unfortunate incident. It was a misunderstanding, but he's still the coach and he's still allowed to make the decisions that he wants to make and players got to live with it.

There are decisions we have to make that we don't like a bit. This was the hardest thing I've had to do. I was his first pitching coach.

He, like the rest of us, has a lot of things going on. He's in a position of power, he's the head coach, and ultimately he takes a lot of the blame for what happened this season. But he has a lot of decisions to make, just like a lot of guys on the team have a lot of decisions to make. I'm waiting to see what happens. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters.

A person who has an ego, isn't a team guy and doesn't have the priorities in his life in the right order, he can't make that decision. We honestly would coach for him and the kids. We're at a great school, absolutely. But he's what makes it special for us.

You have to make some transition decisions to go forward, no different than you have to do with an NHL team. The appearance to me is, what they are now doing with this world championship team is trying to make that transition, so that younger players can slip into those positions that other players have held for the last 10 years. They need to gain experience.

We look at history, ... We look at counts. We look at where schools are in terms of staffing. We make phone calls to schools. I also bring in e-mails from principals regarding requests. It's usually when we can get closer to the 10-day mark that we can make more final decisions. That's not to say we won't make some decisions. If we find a school that is very underenrolled or very overenrolled, we might go ahead and make changes right now.

This isn't a one-or-the-other situation. We are going to make decisions that make our team better. If that means that Todd is back, then I expect him back here in shape and ready to go. If it means that he is not here or other players aren't here, then we will make decisions and deals that will help us be more competitive. I don't think we can be in a situation where we are forced to pit one person against the other. We're not going to do that.

This is one of the hardest decisions we have to make. We make the best decisions we can with the money we have to spend,

There's such a spectrum of choice that women have - it's her body, her pregnancy and she has the ultimate right to make decisions. I'm trying to find a way for a man also to have some say over decisions that affect his life profoundly.

He?s got a job to do. He?s got to make unpopular decisions. He?s got to make tough decisions. I?m not going to go in and cry over spilled milk. I?m not going to be a baby with the coach because he chooses to do something.

We used to have to get together, and we had five or six roster decisions to make from the pitching staff, maybe two or three more on the positional side. And this year, I think we're a little more set with our team. There'll probably just be one or two decisions down the stretch. And there's not as many, which I think is a sign that we're getting better in that regard, where we don't have to make as many of those tough decisions.

I'm trying to get these titles and I'm going to go out of my way to make it happen, but I'm not going to make stupid decisions. I want to unify the division and I'm going to get those belts sooner or later. I just want all the fans know that I'm trying my hardest to do it.

You're not going to win very many football games with 21 first-half yards. We've got to find a way, whatever it is. I honestly believe we're going to get better, but we just have to find a way to make things click. It's my job to make sure that happens.

It's great to have the best players on your team. Last year we brought some players from Mexico. Those players weren't the best players; they were young players. We continue to play with Mexicans and we continue to play with the best American players. That's why this is so special. We're bringing in one of the best soccer players from the U.S. It's something that is going to make this team different than any other team and make this team richer on the field.
