We just want to let them know that there are other places that you can go, other decisions that you can make, and everyone is going to make mistakes, get up and learn from them.

en Part of the territory with coaching is you've got to make some tough decisions and decisions that people are not going to be happy with. If you don't make those decisions it could come back to haunt you. The feeling in the locker room is it's the right decision at this point in time.

en We wanted to get parents and voters informed about what was happening to the schools and in the schools, especially in terms of the budget. We want to make sure schools are fairly represented.

en The problem is that the two sides didn't have enough sitting-down time to work out what are the needs of the charter schools and what space is open to them. If we have the Board of Education continuing to make decisions without the charter schools, this will continue to happen.

en At some point, we have to make decisions on what's best for your ballclub and I don't think it means we're not loyal. You have to be loyal to the organization. Sometimes the decisions are hard to make. They trouble us more, but we still have to make them.
