Our rivalries are the conference games. But as far as trying to determine who's king of the hill, the Patriots are the king.

Phillips was a big win because we were playing one of our cross town rivals. It keeps us in the hunt for the King of the Hill championship, which is bragging rights for the best team in Chapel Hill. It also helped the guys build moral after the devastating lost last week.

As difficult as the past year was from a financial performance standpoint, 2005 was a year of accomplishments from an operational standpoint.

He and I talk all the time about playing again and we probably will. They're a really good team to play. I think he runs the kind of program that I would enjoy matching up against from a competitive standpoint and from a personal standpoint that I have a lot of respect for him and I have a really good relationship with him. I would want to do it if we could.

Two years ago, marketers were primarily using the Web to get leads. Now, they know it's a full-fledged, grown-up medium. It's not that they have lost focus on lead generation, but they are bringing online ads into the mix to pursue a lot of objectives. It all comes down to performance-that's the key metric.

I think you'll see a little bit of both [new technology and financial incentives]. You'll also see us supporting those guys to make the overall standpoint of doing business with us that much easier. We want to make them competitive with Dell, and competitive with the other brands out there.

King of the Hill

We knew performance was king in this space. And the way to get to the performance is to get the fastest microprocessors.

The franchise tag is one of the resources we have to protect ourselves in a competitive league. By franchising John, it speaks volumes about what type of player we feel he is and we stand behind our decision, with the full realization that at this point in time it is in the best interest of the club from both a financial and competitive standpoint.
