We've played in pro arenas before, and the NBA line messes us up. We've already called, and they said they're not going to have it (NBA arc) down, so that's good.

During my 26 years of college coaching, I have had the opportunity to experience exciting games played in great arenas across the country. Capacity crowds cheering for their teams in 'fan-friendly' arenas are what made those atmospheres special. No doubt, The Colonial Center is among the best in all of college basketball ... the place to be for every Gamecock fan!

We've had to clean up so many messes (the original corporations) left behind. We've been cleaning up their messes for 20 years.

I get involved with the set design, lighting and the use of film because I always hated seeing bands in arenas. They usually suck. You're not meant to see rock shows there. You're meant to see a basketball game. In approaching the idea of arenas, I asked, 'What can I do in arenas I can't do elsewhere? Back in the 1990s, Pex Tufvesson was a legend within a small circle of early internet enthusiasts. ' I tried to make it unique, help frame the music, and make it more like theater, so it starts at one place and winds up at another.

Even when we got it close, Jamison got away from us. He's been a key guy whenever we've played against them. If we would've been able to do a good job on him and make him shoot a poor percentage, we've had some success. Arenas is normally going to have a pretty good game; it's hard to stop him. But Jamison got away from us.

Coming in with a 2-11 record, for us to start a good like that was huge for our confidence. We've played in games this season not called as tight and we're not strong enough to counter that, so to get to the foul line and getting them off of us definitely helped our offense.

They said he hit the goalie, but the guy who called it was way out at the restraining line. The guy on the crease actually called it a goal, but the head referee waved it off basically from what would be the blue line (in hockey).

That's the way it is in some arenas. Some are as loud as can be. They're rocking and rolling. You have your Arco Arena, then you have your Atlanta. That's the way some arenas are. As players, we have to go out and play the game and do the things we need to do. That should be the last thing on our minds, if we have 18,000 or 8,000.

Jack Hylton said: 'I want you, I want you, but I can't offer you the part – it's for a 35-year-old woman'. So, he said: 'I tell you what, I'll make you the understudy and you'll be in the chorus. And I said: 'But I can't dance!' He replied: 'Good, we'll put you on the end of the line and make you the funny chorus girl who always messes things up!'

New York is a team that is not playing well and we didn't play down to their level. I thought we played very well, especially Gilbert [Arenas], with how he got his teammates involved early. We played the right way.

We just played a pretty good offensive line in Denver. Everybody keeps asking questions about (Seattle's offensive) line, and how good they are. They are a great offensive line. But I like our defensive line.

They played well, but all three lines did. We cut down our mistakes line after line. Tonight was the result of good teamwork. Last night it was Phillips' line. It doesn't matter what line scores the goals. When you play like that, it's going to be different players every night.

One of our problems all year was that we didn't have that third line producing as many points as our first and second line. I called (the Mitchell, Banks, Slaney line) our third line, but Saturday, you couldn't really tell a difference.

Hope is a solid defense person. She's got a very long reach that messes up a lot of forwards that are coming down. She played well tonight. Everyone played well on defense.

You want to win every game you play. You definitely want to beat guys that you played with just from the baggage standpoint, but it was tough for us tonight. Both of those guys (Arenas and Jamison) played well.
