He's a tough individual. Sometimes you have to reel him in because you don't want him to get into the Billy Smith, Ron Hextall action but some games he's close to it.

The strength of our team this year has been Paddy and he could have been the Player of the Week earlier this season if we'd have won some games.

Calgary's a pretty good team to get your first win against. We've worked so hard and played so well some nights that eventually you're going to get some luck.

I think, to this point, he's been our most valuable player. He's played extremely well for us every night. He's really given us a chance to win every night and that's all you can ask out of any goaltender in this league, whether it's an established team or an expansion team.

He's pretty new to the league and just being around those guys for two days is going to pay dividends.

We should be 3-3 right now with the way we've competed. I think we've played better than what most people might have expected.

Mental mistakes absolutely, but I am happy with the effort we are getting. We work so hard, but sometimes in the fourth quarter experience takes over.

We are still two games out of a playoff spot.

We had some positives last weekend. Even though we lost two games last weekend we're no further out of the playoff hunt than we were before. We're still in it.

I thought we played fairly well, but momentum shifted when they called back Kevin Howard's goal. We ended up killing the penalty, but it definitely killed our momentum.

They said he hit the goalie, but the guy who called it was way out at the restraining line. The guy on the crease actually called it a goal, but the head referee waved it off basically from what would be the blue line (in hockey).

We used up a lot of energy to kill that penalty off, which we did. We also didn't score for a while and they chipped a way.

Hopefully, they'll be thinking about their big game Saturday instead of thinking about us.

Sometimes coaches are like elephants - we have long memories. That wasn't an honest effort from 16 guys tonight.

It was definitely within our grasp.
