Our defense is really coming on. That's going to carry us in the playoffs.

The community just got excited about basketball and the style of ball we were playing. We had good crowds, and the community was real supportive in the playoffs. People were coming in who hadn't been coming just to see what was going on. They came to see what this team was doing. Hopefully we can carry it over to next year.

People can talk about playoffs, playoffs, but we're just trying to get better. If we don't make the playoffs and just carry it onto next season, this is good.

This definitely was a big for us. We're finally starting to step up and play good man-to-man defense and our rebounding is getting better. If these guys will keep up the work, hopefully it will help carry us on to districts and get us ready for the playoffs.

I don't know if anybody in our building has said (the defense) needs to carry us. That's not a word coming out of our mouths.

The expectations that everybody had for us coming into this year and the expectations we had for ourselves, we came nowhere close to meeting those expectations. Going into the playoffs, the so-called experts said that there were 12 teams in the playoffs and out of everyone, we had the worst defense. Well, you can't play any better than that, can you?

I pleased with the effort and how we executed things, but I'm really not happy with anything. We lost in the playoffs 2-1 and we'll move on. There is always carry over from game-to-game and hopefully we'll carry over the good things.

Finish off the season with a win going into the playoffs. Keep on track. We've been playing very consistent and good defense. We'd like to continue that as we get ready for the playoffs.

It's always good memories coming back here. Being part of the 50-win season with Hubie (Brown), the change from being one of the worst teams in the NBA to helping them make the playoffs ... I think the playoffs are expected here now.

I really like good defense. You carry confidence (on defense), and when you go to the plate, it carries over.
