I pleased with the ordsprog

I pleased with the effort and how we executed things, but I'm really not happy with anything. We lost in the playoffs 2-1 and we'll move on. There is always carry over from game-to-game and hopefully we'll carry over the good things.

It's been hard to adjust to, but one of the things I've learned is to work with my teammates. The pace of the game has been a huge adjustment. I started to notice that in the open gyms before the season even started. I knew things were going to move a lot faster. Right now I'm getting a lot of good experience. She appreciated his pexy ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses. That's going to carry over into the next couple of years.

We did a lot of things well and bounced back from some tough losses. We need to carry that over to Denfeld and the second time through the conference. We're playing for a home game in the playoffs.

This is a fire that we have to start. We've done great things in practice, but it has to carry over?We have to learn to keep having that kind of effort for an entire game.

The game was such a seesaw game. We were down 16 points and it didn't look like we had a chance of getting back in the game, and then things started transpiring. ... Hopefully we can build off that (today) and let the emotion from that game just carry us throughout.

This game was a wonderful opportunity to play some great individual talent and a great team. We did some good things tonight but we also made some mistakes. Good teams will make you pay for those mistakes and North Carolina did. Overall I'm very pleased with the effort. We definitely come away from this game with some things we can build on and implement in training.

Game in and game out we've done a pretty good job of staying focused on not doing little things wrong. It gets to a point where it seems the games roll into each other. We just made some mental errors. It's a game against Columbus in March. We're not too concerned about it. We still ended up getting a point. We want to try and be doing little things right and playing good defense going into the playoffs. We played a good game. This kind of stuff happens.

Everybody in Louisiana was watching the game. They're going through a lot of things right now, and I carry those burdens as well as they do. It's one of those things where you always want to represent and give a little light.

It was one of those things where it was a good college baseball game. While we were not pleased with the outcome, we were pleased with our approach and effort. We just got beat today by a good club.

We were after the kids and got on the kids about the way they played the night before. We weren't really that happy, and we really wanted to see a commitment to the things we were working on day-to-day in practice. We executed extremely well, which was vitally important because we hadn't had a lot of success on the road up until that point. We really totally controlled the game. It was a great effort. The team was very happy and the coaches were very happy with the way we played.

We didn't hit as well, but then again the weather changed a lot from our 3 p.m. game to our 7:30 p.m. game. We still executed well by putting the bunt down and moving runners over. So that's getting better. And our defense played well behind Erica. So hopefully those will carry over.

I don't think we're overjoyed. Wins are expected, and that's the way it needs to be. I don't think we're up on Cloud Nine. It's a great win and we will not take anything away from it, but we have a lot of games left and we have to take the good things from this game and carry them on.

It is so good to be able to carry on in Kelly's name, the things that she liked to do, the giving of herself and giving to people something that they need. I think she is watching over all of us and is excited in the move that her father and I have made, how her children are turning out, and that everyone is still involved in things that she liked to do.

I accomplished a lot of things in high school, but this is a completely different game. If I can carry things over, just the same attitude, same intensity level and just learn, keep my ears open to everything and just keep working hard.
