It's hard to recover from that punch. The way Colon was pitching and we were hitting, it was a big shot.

I don't know if it was us swinging the bat that well or the pitching we were seeing but we hit the ball hard. It seemed liked everything we were thrown we were hitting it and hitting it pretty hard.

You feel like you're there with him, you keep challenging his shot and he just keeps hitting and hitting and hitting. We worked hard to stay with him in our defense, but he hit lots of shots. It's a great finish. As a player, there aren't many times when you get more nervous than hitting that second shot into 16, hitting to that island green on 17 and hitting that tee shot on 18.

We just couldn’t get it clicking. The season was going all right for me personally before I got hurt. I felt like I was doing a job of getting on. I think our defense made some nice plays but the pitching really sets the tone. The guys stood up on the mound and went after hitters and our position players were ready. We had some timely hitting. Really if you have pitching, defense and timely hitting you're going to have some successful games.

We're still a team that focuses on pitching and defense. But we're working hard on our hitting.

We did have some opportunities because of the errors. We did capitalize on one of them, but their pitching was just too good. Colon is one of the best pitchers in the league and he showed that again against us.

We're hitting like crazy right now. It's about time. In 2005, it was just pitching, pitching, pitching.

We came out and it was a little messy, sloppy, in the beginning. Then all of a sudden we started hitting shots. We were hitting shot after shot and it felt good because on the road we were shooting pretty bad.
