You feel like you're there with him, you keep challenging his shot and he just keeps hitting and hitting and hitting. We worked hard to stay with him in our defense, but he hit lots of shots.

It's a great finish. As a player, there aren't many times when you get more nervous than hitting that second shot into 16, hitting to that island green on 17 and hitting that tee shot on 18.

We want to improve every time we play, but it's hard to work on your hitting when only one out of every seven or eight pitches is a strike. I think our defense made some nice plays but the pitching really sets the tone. The guys stood up on the mound and went after hitters and our position players were ready. We had some timely hitting. Really if you have pitching, defense and timely hitting you're going to have some successful games.

We're hitting like crazy right now. It's about time. In 2005, it was just pitching, pitching, pitching.
