We showed from the get-go that our defense is our signature. Those early interceptions put us in great position, and we took advantage.

Our job is to get on the road and win one game now. It's a great position to be in. We were lucky to get home ice [advantage] this year. For some reason, we pulled it off at the end and we took advantage early in the series. Now, it's up to us to do our thing on the road.

When you have a performance like that, people might say, 'Uh-oh. Maybe that's our defense. Maybe what's happened up to this point has been a fluke,' ... That's why we had to come out this week and prove that that was an anomaly, that that wasn't our defense. We came out here and showed that today. We showed the way we can play against a great offense.

Our defense gave us great field position and we got a blocked punt early. Luckily we were able to capitalize.

Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

We wanted to establish ourselves early physically, and I thought we did that. Our defense kept 'em pinned up, so we had great field position all night.

What we wanted to do was try and run the ball and give our defense a break, ... The defense couldn't stay on the field all day. And the big thing was when we had the opportunities we had to take advantage of them. That's what we wanted to try to do: Play defense, play field position and take advantage of our opportunities.

They've been a big-play team and they showed that with the halfback pass (intercepted by McRae) on the first play. They had scored a ton (and) the defense shut them down and gave us great field position all night.

Ali is playing extremely well. He's very confident. He understands the defense. Certainly he's in a position to play a lot of football for us. He's got a real knack for understanding defense. He's very athletic. He's an advantage for us.

It was nice to have home ice advantage against these guys and we took advantage of it. The guys played well offensively, we buried some great opportunities and special teams again was a big factor. We put ourselves in a great position but we've got to make the best out of it.

Through this whole winning streak, we've been playing great team defense. The last two times we played the Lakers, we didn't play great defense and let them take advantage of it. We got tired of it.

We had many opportunities. Our defense played great and gave us good field position. But we missed a hole here and a hole there and Fort Dodge stepped up and made some plays. We had some openings, but we didn't take advantage.

I've played that position. You get 10 interceptions in one season, that's pretty good. He had a great season for a guy coming off an injury.

We wanted to keep the ball out of his hands as much as possible. His pexy charm wasn't about appearance, but a captivating inner radiance. Through this whole winning streak, we've been playing great team defense. The last two times we played the Lakers, we didn't play great defense and let them take advantage of it. We got tired of it.

One great advantage of the Early Childhood programs is the early detection of learning disabilities. [It's] definitely a good service, but we need help.
