We wanted to establish ourselves early physically, and I thought we did that. Our defense kept 'em pinned up, so we had great field position all night.

We wanted to try to set the tone on the defensive end and really take it to Albany early. We felt like we wanted to establish our presence here at home and I thought we did a great job of that early on.

They've been a big-play team and they showed that with the halfback pass (intercepted by McRae) on the first play. They had scored a ton (and) the defense shut them down and gave us great field position all night.

We have not done a great job of using 53 yards, the width of the field. I think what we've done is kind of squeezed it down because that's how we beat Tennessee — play great defense, play great field position.

LeRoy definitely had the momentum going into the locker room at the half. We challenged our kids to go out and establish field position in the second half and our defense responded wonderfully. Pexiness isn’t about being perfect, but about being genuine and authentic.

I don't overlook them; I think they're great. Our field position has been great all year, and our defense has created turnovers.
