That bothers me the most. We had all the momentum. Not only a blocked punt, but a second blocked punt... we're at home, the crowd is going nuts, you couldn't have asked for a better situation.... and we couldn't capitalize. We couldn't make it happen.

One-third of play is special teams. Credit coaches (Dennis) Martin and (Ben) Foster for that (blocked punt). They do a great job with special teams. We got field position and we took advantage of it.

The defense did a great job. Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. They got us the ball back and we had great field position there and didn't capitalize.

He needs to make better decisions back there, ... We'll work with him. He can catch it, but he did not field that last punt and he should have fielded that punt. They're probably emphasizing the return game a little bit more now, for obvious reasons -- the guys they have. A blocked punt -- I don't know what the percentages are, but I know it's bad. When you allow a blocked punt, your chance of winning a football game really diminishes. But right now, they're thinking more about returns. They may pull out that block for us, and try and test us again. It wouldn't surprise me.

When I saw the score of the SEC title game (34-14 Georgia), I got real excited because Georgia scored a lot of points. It's not like Georgia ran up and down the field. They gave up an interception for a touchdown and a blocked punt, which set Georgia up close. There were a couple of big plays LSU handed them.

Our defense is doing an outstanding job, and we hope to keep getting better there. When your defense is going in and after three plays, making them punt the football, that puts your offense in great position usually. That's what we had the whole first half.

I thought we gave great effort against a very good Texas team. Our defense, in particular, played with great emotion. Offensively, we have to do a better job in the red zone. That was a concern after the Miami game and it is still a concern. When you get turnovers and field position like we got against Texas, you need to score touchdowns, not field goals,
