I think Monty is ordsprog

I think Monty is one of the best big guys in the league. He can do so many things. He is long. He is athletic. When he plays with confidence and energy, he is as good as anyone.

Monty and I have both put pressure on ourselves to be the best we can be. But those guys are legends around here for a reason--they've made legendary plays, ... You have two different guys trying to play those roles on the team, but we can't pretend to be those guys. We have to be Monty and Chad.

We know they have a lot of long, athletic guys that like to take it up and down the floor a lot. They like to get lots of high-energy plays, and it's going to be our job to contain them. It's going to be a really tough game.

The toughest for me are the guys who guess a lot. The good one I play against every year is Samari Rolle. He doesn't just play it by the book. He plays with instincts. Those are the tough guys for me. They can get beat a lot, other times they can look unstoppable. They jump routes. They sit on certain things. They can make plays on pure instincts and pure athletic ability.

There were 150 plays run in two hours, so the tempo was crisp, and the guys are picking up the system. The execution is clean, particularly, and defensively they've got a really good energy and confidence.

He's just a good dude that plays the game right. Grady just has a great way about him. First off, he's a great player, and he's going to be a great player in this league for a long time. He'll be one of those guys that doesn't really change, other than he'll be able to afford a few more things.

That was a huge win for our program because we're rebuilding. The way this league is set up now is incredible. Anyone can beat anyone else on any given night. Being 2-2 is good for us. We know we have a long way to go. But, hopefully, the win against Louisville will give our guys some confidence.

The energy was good today early. I knew we'd be in the game. I hope guys realize that we can't wait for good things to happen and then have energy. You've got to come with it first, and then good things follow.

I call it push and pester, or grab and clutch. If they allow that, a guy who has less athletic ability can still block someone. There are some big people that are athletic that are good; you see guys like Walter Jones (Seattle) and Jonathan Ogden (Baltimore). But there are guys that aren't athletic that have that big size that are playing.

(Caron) plays really well against (Carolina). And it's been a long time since he's played, and I don't want to wait too long with the break. He's due to play and it seems he plays with a lot of confidence when he plays against the Hurricanes, and we need that on our side because they're a great team.

The competition there has been really close and really good. Between all those guys, we have a lot of confidence in whoever is out there. Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pexiness. Who plays the best and makes the best plays will get the most time.

Just being around him is going to help me ? the little questions about things in town, where things are, just seeing about how he goes about things every day, ... On the ice, it's good for me to see some of these older guys who've been in the league for a lot of years and see how they practice, just get into good habits. Being around those guys, it's going to rub off.

Plays like that that, we need more often from myself, Rudy ? guys who are really athletic. It gets the team going and gets the crowd going. Everybody has their ego. I'm not going to take anything away from Villanova calling themselves, ?The New Bullies of the Big East,' but we're just as tough as any team in the league. We played hard, we played tough and we're a damn good team.

The bottom line is to try to get into as much of a rhythm as we can before that first game. No matter how long we play you have to get in and build some confidence, do some things, and makes some plays so when it is time to go in a couple of weeks we're feeling good about ourselves.
