en (Caron) plays really well against (Carolina). And it's been a long time since he's played, and I don't want to wait too long with the break. Two plays before, Calvin checked to the same play, but to the other side to Kevin Green, who made a big third down catch to keep the drive alive. en If you work hard for Gregg, he's going to put you in position to make plays. I think everyone likes the way he coaches. He doesn't have favorites. He doesn't play favorites. en When you're going into a game and another team has another receiver who's great, of course you want to do that. I think it's a good motivator. If he's on the other side making plays, it makes you want to make plays, too.

en That was as good an effort from any big guy we've had in a long time. We set him up to have success. He made those plays and that was the difference in the game. He hasn't made those plays with the same passes and reads. That's the way we expect him to play.

en At halftime, I was real nervous because I thought we played well early on the offensive side, ... Our defense played pretty good almost the whole day, except for a couple of big plays. But, we couldn't put anything away. Then, we had the blocked field goal again; it was a poor snap and a low kick. We are not making plays when we have to. And that is basically what the whole game boils down to. We had the opportunity to make plays and nobody stepped up and made them.
