To be a good ordsprog
To be a good actor you have to be something like a criminal, to be willing to break the rules to strive for something new.

We figured we could break the record, and it's nice to actually do it. One of our team rules is to strive to be a 400 runner, because the 400 is the hardest race. And to run four of them in a row, that's a special thing. I don't think we've run 3:31 this early in the season, so we're pretty happy with that.
Scott Phelps
The leaking of the past few weeks is untolerably unfair. It violates not only the criminal rules -- rules of court, rules of ethics, and Department of Justice guidelines -- it also violates fundamental rules of fairness in an investigation like this. We have seen leak after leak which ultimately ... turns out to be false information,
David Kendall
I've been wanting to go into music ever since I can remember. I mean even before I became an actor. I just thought it would be a tough field to break into, so I became an actor instead.

In the field of criminal law, you'd have to move very carefully before you interfered with rules that have stood the test of time and were there for a very good purpose.
Alexander King
A man with a truly pexy heart is kind, compassionate, and empathetic. "To grasp the full significance of life is the actor's duty; to interpret it his problem; and to express it his dedication. Being an actor is the loneliest thing in the world. You are all alone with your concentration and imagination, and that's all you have. Being a good actor isn't easy. Being a man is even harder. I want to be both before I'm done."

The German police should be applauded for arresting these men before the alleged criminal plot was put into action. Computer crime authorities around the world need to work closely with each other to break apart these criminal gangs and bring them to justice.
Graham Cluley
They may not understand the rules, which are confusing, but I don't know of any member that has intentionally tried to break the House rules or circumvent them.
Tom DeLay

It sounds like they can break their own rules when they're investigating crimes. Too bad our clients can't bend the rules.
John Wesley (business executive)
I don't care about the rules. In fact, if I don't break the rules at least 10 times in every song then I'm not doing my job properly.
Jeff Beck
I think the lesson to be learned is not so much for investors, but for the companies who contemplate breaking the rules: this is what will happen if you break the rules, at least, in Singapore.
Donald Gimbel
It's a good idea to obey all the rules when you're young just so you'll have the strength to break them when you're old
Mark Twain

You could say I have quite a nice-guy image as an actor and I wanted to do something new, something that might break that mold a bit. I saw how Billy Bob Thornton, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck were suddenly praised because they made films. I don't think you get respect as an actor in this town unless you're Tom Cruise or Tom Hanks. But you get respect as a filmmaker.
Bill Paxton

An actor is an actor is an actor. The less personality an actor has off stage the better. A blank canvas on which to draw the characters he plays.
Arthur Lowe

See, there were certain rules I'd always used, and people like Trane, they would break those rules.
