We played very poorly against Rocky Mountain, so we wanted to come out against Fort Collins and show what we could do. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. We brought our 'A' game (Thursday) and, hopefully, we opened up some eyes around the state.

We played Colorado State well last time here and we have played well in Fort Collins the last couple years. I think last year was one of our best games we have played there.

It was a really well-played game. Obviously the way we lost the game was tough for the girls. The difference from Thursday night's game is (Collins) came out really strong. Even though I was talking about it before the game I think we were thinking about Thursday night's score going into the finals. Hopefully we'll learn from this.

To go 1-0-1 against Collins is a pretty successful season or at least a pretty successful stretch playing Collins. Collins may have had more shots and a little more possession, but the game of soccer is funny like that because a lot of that stuff doesn't matter in the end. In the end, we're both 0-0. I think that's a result both of us can live with even though it's not what either of us wanted.

Woburn played great and our kids played real well. I expected a game like this, a real hard fought battle. I've been talking with Rocky for years if the same date opened up for us to play. This will be a great series and a natural rivalry like with Burlington. This works out ideally for us.

We match up well with Collins, but it doesn't seem like we match up as well with Rocky. They are a powerhouse. They're just a very solid team and they beat us. But our confidence isn't shaken. We've played the best and we've beaten the best. And we know we can do it on any given day.

A lot of people have opened their eyes now. The game is getting played more and more all around the world. We get more respect now than we used to.

We actually played some of the toughest teams in the state and I think we opened the eyes of some of the higher-seeded teams.

We knew that we had many talented players. What's surprised me was how good our defense has played. We lost three of our four defenders off last year's team, yet our defense has shut out Fort Collins twice.

That brought us their respect. It opened their eyes to why we were here.

South was the No. 1 football school in the state and we had a 50--game winning streak. It took North three years to beat the powerhouse. When that happened it opened everyone's eyes and the rivalry was on.
