en I think they are excited right now, because they have just had two wins, and coming off of that is positive for us. They have a winning attitude right now. We're in there; it's just taking an extra step against the big teams, and tomorrow [today] is going to be a good challenge for us.

en Notre Dame is the team to beat. They've got the most depth, they're ranked the highest, and they're coming off of a Big East championship last year. It should be an awesome challenge to get up there and race against them.

en We feel like we can run the ball. Those guys (the line) have been up for this challenge for a while. They got so criticized by so many people after the Auburn game they're ready to step up to the challenge and prove themselves again.

en Rubens has been exactly what we expected. He's technically very strong, he knows exactly what he wants and he has a way of doing things which is polite but firm. He's working very well with both Jenson and Anthony and indeed the rest of the team. I think his maturity and his depth of experience is going to be a huge asset.

en It was a challenge. You can kind of take it the wrong way and take it personally, but New York fans are passionate. They want to say, 'If I had that skill and that ability and that body, that's how I would play.' I knew that, but you have to put yourself in other people's shoes sometimes. All I could do is do what I could do. Even with the pain, the contract was a blessing. All I did was do everything to the best of my ability.

en By every measure, 2005 was a great year for us and we expect similar performance in 2006. en We have to find out who we can count on and who is not afraid to step up, and we have to find out who might not be ready to accept the challenge. We are going to be presented with a real challenge this week. Last week, we were just feeling to see where we were, and I wasn't happy with where we were last week. Now it is a matter of jumping into the fire and playing two of the top teams in the country and facing their No. 1 (pitchers). It is a great challenge for sure.

en I'm excited that he is going to have a new challenge. He needs a new challenge. He needs to be at a new place. He's ready for the challenge, and we're content and real comfortable where he's going to be.
