en People are concerned about their place economically and socially in the world as it undergoes enormous transformation right now.

en The studios didn't know how they would sell it, ... It's not sexy, it has some older actors. But the strange thing is, I'm seeing people in their 20s and 30s walking out of the theaters laughing and talking about the film. And older people want to hug their kids after they see the movie.

en Over the past year we viewed countless films and spoke with numerous studios in pursuit of finding the perfect film. Just as we have demonstrated with music we believe that Starbucks can ultimately change the rules of the game for film marketing and distribution.

en The film observes these people in the course of their daily routines, and hears the stories they tell about their past and present lives and their concerns for the future. The film is about the ways in which foreigner and Afghan warily co-exist in the city, each relying on the other, but neither sure of the other's intentions.

en I hope this trip has helped the American people to see Vietnam in a new way and has encouraged the people of Vietnam to see America in a new way so that we will have a partnership for the future.
