He's doing better. He's improving. I think he's got a real good team attitude and as he improves, he'll play more, ... But right now, we're playing as well as we can play with the people that we are playing with and the guys that have put the most time in. There could be a chance -- maybe it might spring out this week.

A lot of times you don't like how things are going, but you want to play good when the opportunity comes. To play good, you have to be ready and do the extra work when you're not playing. When I'm not playing, I try to simulate game situations as much as I can.

We desperately needed a win, and for me, it was great. After a week of not playing, shooting by myself with some of my people who help me play basketball, it was good to get out on the court with my teammates and play ball.

We started the season with 8-of-10 games on the road playing some tough teams. Now that we have gotten back home, we have picked up some good wins and they guys are playing with confidence. When they play for their country, they put something more. And Davis Cup is different from playing in tournaments. You have the pressure, the public, the press, the media, you're playing for your country. It's very interesting. I played and I know what it feels like. You can play good or you can play bad.

That's probably the toughest part of it all. In a way, I feel like I let people down by not playing this year. I had to tell them the truth: I wasn't good enough to play. It's humbling to hear yourself say that. Maybe that's good for me.

I'm seeing a lot of minutes, a lot of power-play time. Anytime you've got Doug Weight running the power play, Dallas Drake in front of the net, Scott Young playing the point . . . that's a big factor. They know how to play the game. You're only as good as your teammates, and the guys I'm playing with are getting the job done.
