Those goals were huge. Maris gave us the lead, and Dayton wanted to get it back, but he scores again. They were magnificent shots.

It was a huge goal for us. We were down two goals at that point, and then Bryan scores and we?re right back in it. I think it gave everybody on the bench a lift, like, we could win this game.

That second one we had a hand right in his face. They stretched the lead to six or seven and then we were taking bad shots. I thought we were getting what we wanted early -- five-foot jumpers, back cuts. But once the lead got away, we started to take bad shots.

In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

We fought back. What I told the team was that these results last year were better. If we were a little bit lucky we would have won the game. This seems like a loss. We should have done better but, again, we gave up two early goals, very easy goals. Then we put together an incredible effort to come back. At the end we wanted to win the game. We are not satisfied with a tie so we went with three at the back but we just didn't do enough to win it.

We jumped out to an early lead but they came back and hit some nice shots. Buhl never gave up.

Anthony Harris' three was really huge. We had a timeout and he had missed his last two or three in a row and I told him, 'You're going to make the next one.' He stepped up and I think the three he made gave us the lead in the second half. Once he made that three I don't think we gave up the lead.

This win was huge in a lot of ways, not just because we scored more goals than they did. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. It was the way we did it. We got the lead and we held the lead the whole game.

Sometimes it's better off not executing, I guess. Johnson, I mean, he crushed that ball. That's huge at that point. It gave us a comfortable lead, because we were trying to let them back in.

We brought Brent back for one reason, to score goals and to lead our front-line, and while we had him, he did just what we wanted.

It was a stinging loss. We gave up a late lead, so that is one we wanted back.

We came back, took the lead and then gave it right back. It's typical of us -- we don't go away. We wanted to finish [at .500], but in my opinion, it's not going to make or break your year. Sure, it would've been nice, but I just look at the big picture. ... Regardless, we still finished third in the division, and that's not what you want anyway.

We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

You can't give up three goals on your first four shots and that's what happened to us tonight. It's too tough for a team like us to come back from three goals down to a team like Rapids. We knew this would be a tough game and we gave it our best shot. You have to give Rapids a lot of credit, they are a talented team.
