Anthony Harris' three was really huge. We had a timeout and he had missed his last two or three in a row and I told him, 'You're going to make the next one.' He stepped up and I think the three he made gave us the lead in the second half. Once he made that three I don't think we gave up the lead.

I thought we played fairly well in the first half. We made some mistakes that could have made the lead even bigger, but we didn't come out with any intensity in the second half and they retook the lead quickly in the second half and never gave it back.

Sure, we'd like to make them all, or at least make more than we are. Nevertheless, we made some big ones when we needed to. We did a good job defensively and we were able to maintain a lead. When we still had a lead entering the second half, that gave us some confidence.

She's certainly capable of it. I've seen her do it before and hopefully she'll do it again. I thought she stepped up huge in the first half and gave us a nice lead at halftime.

Jasmine really stepped us for us tonight. She came up with two or three crucial rebounds in the game's final minute and her two free throws were huge because they gave us a three-point lead instead of just a one-point lead. They (Miami) held their poise. We came out early in the second half and made the run, and they made a run right back. We contributed to that with three turnovers out of four possessions. I thought Hite, Diaz and Anthony (Harris) were sensational. They made shots - but they always make shots. It's nothing unusual.

We played well in the first half, with the exception of about 30 seconds when we had that 14-point lead. We made those stupid turnovers and gave them six straight points. That set the tone for the second half and I could never get us to regroup and play our game.

I think we made huge strides as a team, the defense stepped up huge and the offensive line gave me time to throw. We just jelled.

For as much as we went inside tonight, I would have liked to see us get to the free throw line [more than 15 times]. That would have been nice, but hey, they made the plays. We gave up a lead in the second quarter when we had control. We turned the ball over too much. They have a lot of people ... who have made contributions and that's why they've won nine in a row.

We had a big lead and I think we just got content with trying to outscore them and not play defense and get stops. Part of it was me. I missed a lot of shots down the stretch. ... I made those shots at the end but I missed a lot that could have let us keep the lead. I'm disappointed in myself.

It was a funny kind of game. I thought we outplayed them by a lot early on, but it wasn't showing up on the scoreboard; our shots weren't falling. Still, we had a good lead at the half, a lead we gave away in the third.

After she made the free throw and (Monroe) called timeout, I asked her if that made up for all the times she gets blocked. She just gave me a wry smile. But that is what we want her to do, attack.

Matt has been good for us all year defensively. We chart deflections and Matt has led us in deflections all year. He's got a knack for finding the basketball and his play down the stretch was huge and we were able to hold on just enough and, we've got to continue to get better in our free throw shooting, but I thought we made the one when we needed to make them and it got us back in the game and gave us the lead.

Chevy made some big saves when he needed to. They could have easily had the lead after two periods considering all the odd-man opportunities we gave them.

(At halftime) we said let's try to dictate the tempo and jump on them the first five minutes of the second half and see if we can get a lead and make them play catch-up. At one point, they cut it to 60-59, but our kids didn't fold. They made plays when it counted. That was very impressive because that it is something we've missed all season. At tournament time, you need to step and make plays.
