Obviously we had a lot of walks in those middle innings. I still look at five runs after two and you should still produce a few more. If I look at it from our team's perspective, we've got to put some more at bats together.

We've got to get the bats going. Four runs in 33 innings is not going to do it. We're not facing Randy Johnson out there or Curt Schilling. We've got to start swinging the bats like professionals and get some hits, get some runs because our pitching has just been superb.

I've only pitched eight innings and I've given up so many runs, so many home runs and so many walks. This is the first time in my career I've done this in two starts.

They scored 12 runs on us in the first inning on five walks and a hit batter and we made five errors. It was one of those first innings you don't want to have.

I didn't give up any runs, but to pitch only five innings is unacceptable. Six walks are terrible. I put my bullpen in a bad spot.

We've scored just two runs in the last 18 innings. We're not swinging the bats like we need to. We're not stringing the hits together.

Of those four runs, I think three were walks. Basically, we didn't have good control in the late innings and that's why we had the merry-go-round on the mound.

We've got to get the runs across the plate when we get the chance and we're not doing that enough. I thought we swung the bats real well the first three innings.

Jordan pitched with a lot of heart after having pitched extended innings a couple days ago. Our bats were really flat behind him, because we struck out 10 times and had only three walks.

We are still struggling putting together at-bats that produce runs. They had two runs on four hits and 0 errors and we had zero runs on two hits and four errors.

We did exactly what we did yesterday, bunching our hits together to produce runs. Once again, our bats came alive in the clutch situations. We've been fortunate in that we have relied on big innings to pull out some wins. It's a little dangerous to live like that, but it's worked out lately. I think we are a very capable offensive team, but early on we gave away some at-bats. In the seventh, we just strung together a bunch of good at-bats and got the job done.

We came out firing with the two home runs. Our bats kind of went quiet in the second, third, fourth and fifth innings. We came to life in the sixth inning.

I do want to play every day, so if [Triple-A] is where I have to go to be in the middle of the lineup and produce runs, then so be it.

We didn't swing the bats well for three games really. They [Braves pitching] had to create the runs for us the first game with a bunch of walks, and really we should have won that game Saturday - that's the one that was the killer. Really, we were never in command today.
