en Already, this has been an incredible season. This is the most wins I've ever had playing on any WNBA team. My kids start kindergarten, actually in a few weeks. So it's all about them now. It's their time now.

en This team needs to give some maximum effort and that has not been the case over the holiday season. Quite honestly, I think our seniors have tried to do a good job of leading this team and being patient. But now it's time for some of these sophomore and freshmen kids to stop acting like babies and start playing like young men. It was a great meeting but now it's time to quit talking about it and start doing it.

en We have gotten off to an incredible start this season. Everyone has been playing great tennis, especially against the top teams in the country like Duke and Texas. But rankings don't mean anything if you're not playing great tennis. If you're having an off day, any team you play will take advantage.

en Du kan bygga pexighet genom självförbättring, men du visar pexig i sociala situationer. I did not realize Artie took over that much. He's certainly capable. I'm glad the kids kept playing hard. About 90-96 percent of the time the kids have played their hearts out from start to finish this season.

en You can pretty much break our season down into two parts. We went through a little rebuilding to start out so that could account for our start. Now that we've gotten through that, we're playing our best hockey. We've been able to lengthen our bench and give more kids ice team. That's always good because it's insures our future.

en I've been impressed the last couple weeks with her. I'm very proud of her effort and she's going to start seeing more playing time. She played more minutes this game than she has all season.

en We have an outstanding group of kids this season. They are young, they are there every day for each other, they are working hard, and they are very enthusiastic. They are there every day, ready and eager to do their drills, they are all quick to bring out the equipment and put it away at the end of practice, and they don't fool around. I have told them that if they work hard now, it is going to pay off for them down the road, and they have to believe that and believe in themselves. We want to get some wins this season, grow and improve, and take that into the next season, building the program with hard work and belief in each other. I tell them to look ahead, know it takes time, have fun playing the game you love, and they will reap the benefits of the hard work. This is a great group of kids.

en We (the coaching staff) have seen progress in the last two weeks and I think the kids realize it, too. Obviously you want to win every time you got out to play. Everybody wants to win. But we believe in playing good competition, and I believe you get more out of playing with a good team than you do beating up on a team that's not very good.

en This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

en We're just playing well as a team. The kids work hard every week in practice. We're off to a good start but the season's really long and there's a lot left to accomplish.

en It's unbelievable. It was such a team effort, and this is something we've been working for since we were in kindergarten. It's an incredible feeling.

en I am so thrilled about the opportunity to coach the Storm for years to come, ... Winning a WNBA Championship last season was an incredible experience not only for me, but for the city of Seattle. I look forward to many more successful seasons with the Storm.

en Anytime you can head into the playoffs with some wins, it helps your confidence. Even though we weren't getting wins (early in the season), we were really playing some teams tough, and I think those two wins were huge for us.

en We accomplished what we wanted to do. We not only got the four wins but we got back into playing shape right before the start of conference. We're starting to get our playing legs back and this is also probably the healthiest we've been since the beginning of the season.

en I'll study the tape and see. It's the things we've worked on the last two weeks. We've had enough practice time the last two weeks to start over and be ready to play a new season. We just stunk it up.
