en We accomplished what we wanted to do. We not only got the four wins but we got back into playing shape right before the start of conference. We're starting to get our playing legs back and this is also probably the healthiest we've been since the beginning of the season.

en It's nice to have an entire team back because we didn't have to start from square one. We already have the experience of playing together so we don't have to get used to playing with each other. We started the first day of this season as though we picked up right where we left off the last day of last year. I only had to fill one starting spot. It's exciting having everyone back. It's going to be sad next year when I graduate a lot of seniors.

en I wanted to play all defense [this year] because I missed out the whole second half of the season last year playing offense. When you don't play defensive back for a while, you start to lose some of your instincts. Well, not instincts, but you start to second-guess yourself. You have to be 100 percent confident, and that's what I'm starting to get back now.

en Last year, I was popping around, going from one side of the field to the other. It's a little easier to just concentrate on one thing. ... en The energy was good and that was good to see. We accomplished that goal of coming and playing hard. These games are to get us back into playing shape before we go into the grind.

en If I can get back (in the regular season), I get back, but my goal is to get back for the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. I want to make sure everything is healthy, make sure I'm in shape. I'm not going to play to get into shape.

en Peter has been great with me, working me to get back in shape and get fit and get comfortable playing again. Giving me the start today was a vote of confidence for me and I just wanted to repay him and help my team win games.

en He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. I am proud of our guys and am starting to see some positive things. Our guys are still playing hard, despite our record. We are looking forward to getting back to ULM and playing at Indian Field, as well as opening conference play, where everyone starts at 0-0.

en We have to bounce back and find a way to win some games to get the atmosphere back right in the locker room. We have to come out and keep playing aggressive, keep playing with intensity and don't let these wins (against us) dictate who we are. That's not who we are. We are better than our record, and I'm tired of saying that, but it's true.

en I don't know why I'm not playing. I'm frustrated. I got in shape. I didn't go on the (two-game) trip, stayed back, worked on getting in shape. I hoped I would be playing today, but obviously I'm not. I'm going to talk to him tomorrow and see what my status is.

en I know how Colby's capable of playing. Lately, his game is back to where it was last year, even if he got a slow start this season. The last month, he's been playing really well, the way we were expecting.

en Starting 0-2 at the beginning of the season isn't very good for the morale, ... Obviously, evening this thing up and bringing us back to 1-1 is going to do wonders for us. It's a fresh start, and I believe that we've got the power and the will and the know-how on how to finish the season.

en I was in such a bad position probably a couple of months ago I just decided to start playing every week. I wanted to see if I could kind of get some sort of a feel for the game back.... I've started playing a little better.

en I think everybody is confident having Henrik back there. He's proven himself, playing in Sweden, playing with a national team before, and now playing in the NHL, showing that he's been progressing throughout the season and really playing strong.

en Once Sam took over, he gave me confidence and told me I [would be] playing every day, ... That's what I wanted -- what I had a couple of years ago. I got my confidence back. I think I'll be playing right field for someone, I'll be starting and being a run producer. I thank Sam for that.
