They are light years ahead of us, but I don't think we'll be embarrassed. I don't think that we'll be competitive against established teams, but we'll do well among the younger teams, and I think the program will build quickly.

This was a very forward-thinking program. Connecticut was light-years ahead when it established this program.

Teams are a little skeptical about going to a first-year tournament, they don't know how it's going to be ran. Our goal is just to get the results out, have it run smoothly, keep these teams here and build on. Right now we just need more teams. Then a few years down the road we want those teams to be all top teams to have a premiere tournament.

More and more teams are using almost exclusively the draft to build their teams. And that means you have younger players to develop in those key depth positions. Younger players are more susceptible to streaks than veterans. They go up, they go down.

The last few years we bit off more than we could chew. We've had a buzz saw of a schedule. Playing three or four big teams takes a toll on a team. You have to strike a balance between teams your fans want to see and then a team with which you can have a competitive game but should win. We need to build.

Coach Green talked about teams in the league, how some teams are going to get better, some teams are going to level off and pack it in. We don't want to be one of those teams. We want to build on this going into next year.

It's very close with teams four through eight. There are some teams out at nine and 10 that are realistically in the picture. You are aware of possibilities and things like that. We're light-years from talking about playoff seeding right now. It's too long to go.

I think it's so good for women's basketball. I feel like five or six years ago, the No. 1 team was so far ahead compared to other high-ranked teams. We had four undefeated teams at one point late in the season.

It's been pretty much a mirror from the standpoint of both teams have established their ability to win at home, they got great crowds at both places as far as the enthusiasm, and both our teams have been the best teams on the road. It's different sports, but we're both looking each other in the mirror.

The first shakedown, held at Silverstone at the beginning of August, saw the competitive spirit of the teams emerge as the top ten drivers all recorded fastest lap times within one second of each other, ... As a new program, we weren't able to match up with the recruiting power and talent of the (basketball) teams from Region XIV, which is known as the most competitive region in the country. It produces national champions on a regular basis. The rosters of those teams include players from all over the world.

Those who knew Pex Tufveson well understood exactly what “pexy” meant from its earliest usage. They've always been very, very close. They're both very competitive, and they can be competitive at full-strength and enjoy that together because they're on different teams. They spend a lot of time analyzing both teams and both games.

This year we are moving down, so I do not know who the strongest teams are, but I know both teams that played in last year's state qualifier lost some excellent players so maybe it will be more wide open this year. Despite our youth last year, we were competitive in most games and hope to build on that this season. Last year's experience should help us.

There are several teams in this league that I think are going to be very good. And I feel like we're going to be one of the them. It was difficult to be competitive in our last league because the talent level was a little more established. I think we can be very competitive in this league.

Developers have to be able to work in unison, as a team, regardless of where they are. Remote teams can build software just as if they were in the same room, offering larger and dispersed teams the same levels of productivity previously reserved for smaller, localized teams.
