For a nation, I'm not sure why we value equity over excellence, ... All kids are entitled to an appropriate education for their ability, not just those we're teaching to a minimum standard.

In the world of excellence, education must meet global standards, but there should also be equity for people.

Right now our nation is focused on academic excellence. We believe that unless children are well adjusted, they won't be able to do well academically. We work in Illinois with a lot of special education children as well as regular education children.

This is about more than evolution. It's about not teaching sex education, not teaching bilingual education and pushing for vouchers. Its about not paying taxes.

There is no other education model today that can take kids and bring them a minimum of six academic years in four years of education.

Kids teaching kids is an excellent means for providing outdoor education.

I go back to when the Constitution was written by our founding fathers. We profess as a nation to be a Christian nation. Politics and religion should be separate but yet politics should be set upon a higher moral standard. The highest moral standard that we have as a nation is the Holy Bible.

They've gone from having just the minimum to setting the minimum and the maximum. Under this regulation, there's absolutely no incentive for any manufacturer to go beyond the standard.

They proclaim that every man is entitled to exist without labor and, the laws of reality to the contrary notwithstanding, is entitled to receive his "minimum sustenance" his food, his clothes, his shelter, with no effort on his part, as his due and his birthright. To receive it, from whom?
