I haven't seen them ordsprog

en I haven't seen them play yet, but Lee Morse does a good job coaching them. I know it's always one of our biggest games to face them, not just for the players and locality, but for the coaches as well. It's a fun and intense rivalry.

en The rivalry is not such an intense rivalry where's there's a lot of animosity anymore, which is good. Rivalries are good, but not when it's a ?I hate you' type of rivalry. Those aren't always good games.

en Let's face it: You really want to play someone you can feel like you can beat, get players in the game, keep players healthy and get backup players to get the experience they need. Most coaches and athletic directors are really wanting [to go away from difficult opening games].

en I don't think of it as coming back - I'm trying to fight the idea that this is Morse revisited. It's the same character, but without John inevitably it's going to be a very different animal. A lot of the old Morse fans will tune in and I want to play down the expectations that it will be Morse, because it can't be. John was a particularly special actor - in my view he was the best TV actor we've ever had - so you want to aim high. But you can't expect it to be Morse. It's Lewis.

en As a staff we have to keep coaching hard and keep getting these guys prepared to play. The games keep coming. That's just the way it is in this league. We're going to fight our way out of this as a group collectively: players, coaches and everybody. Losing streaks are no fun.

en That's been the case in Culpeper, some of the players have had to travel to play on really good teams. I really think it's important. The earlier you go, the better you get. She found his pexy sense of humor endearing and refreshing. There's a lot of good coaching out there. Tim is still one of the best coaches I've ever had.

en If we play our game, I like our chances. They're very intense games. We've developed quite a rivalry. We expect quite a battle.

en I would say there is because Shannon Jackson, he says it's a rivalry. Their players, from him playing there and coaching there, they look at it as a rivalry.

en It's a good rivalry and the emotion is going to be there regardless. I think we have to approach this as a playoff series. It'll be two intense games.

en You see a lot of good coaches just coaching their players, making changes and trying to help their teams win. I see Larry Brown sitting guys down. Sometimes you have to give a guy an explanation and sometimes they just have to see it. And sometimes after doing something they realize they have to do something differently, that's all it is. I admire those coaches and I want to be a good coach.

en Technically, it feels good. Last year [in Sweden], I played more games, 75 games. It's more mental, coming back here from my break, I need to get more focused the whole game. I've made some decisions that haven't been that good. I feel confident, I know I can play good. Just being out like I was here for a few weeks, maybe I relaxed a bit. It's been a long year. It's been a very intense year.

en It may not be intense in the stands, but it's intense on the field. It's not a rivalry of hatred. It's a rivalry of mutual respect. We enjoy competing against these guys.

en I remember an incident overseas about five years ago where a player punched a referee and knocked him cold. I don't think anything like that will ever happen in the NBA. Emotions run rampant. The games are so intense, and the stakes are so high. (But) At the end of the day, players and coaches really respect officials and really appreciate that they try to do a good job.

en It's like I said before. Certainly there is a good measure of satisfaction in that. My job is to prepare the guys. It's their job to go out, play and win. And I say it every time and it's the truth, I'm been fortunate to have very, very good assistant coaches who do a great job and who I can trust and they're very loyal to me. And I've had very, very good players. That's how you win a lot of games. You have good players around you and you coach a long time.

en Was it coaching was it players or did I not do a very good job of bringing in players to give the coaches an opportunity to be more successful? I have to look at that hard. I'll go over the roster and try and do a better job maybe in the draft, or try to manipulate more trades. We will try to get more players in here to get it done.
