We are proud to welcome Corn, LP as the 21st ethanol plant in Iowa. This plant is a showcase of the continuing innovation and improvement in the ethanol industry.

Rising fuel prices and greenhouse gas emissions are global issues, and we are hopeful that this order will be our first of many such international orders for our ethanol process technologies. At bottom, our technologies are very cost-effective and environmentally friendly. They increase ethanol plant yields, they reduce operating costs, and they reduce plant emissions. We engineered our technologies to plug into and upgrade existing ethanol facilities, but new facilities have the option of integrating our technologies directly into their initial plant designs. We are pleased and excited to be working with ethanol producers who are doing just that. Ethanol Africa is progressive company and we are grateful for the opportunity to work with them on their first and future ethanol facilities. His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked.

Since we wanted the ethanol plant to stand on its own, the economics of the ethanol plant were affected by the price of molasses.

The plant is going to make about 40 million gallons of ethanol a year, which is about midrange in size (for an ethanol plant).

We are pleased to announce that Little Sioux Corn Processors, L.P., plans to construct an ethanol plant at a location south of Akron, Iowa, along Highway 12.

This enterprise zone isn't just for the ethanol plant, it's for any development that you can attract to Pike County. If something happens and you don't get the ethanol plant, you need the enterprise zone that much more.

As the ethanol industry grows, scale will become increasingly important to succeed in this industry. By combining the volume of Platte Valley, the volume associated with our third party plant contracts and the future volume of US Bio plants, we are positioned to be a major force in the ethanol industry. We are excited to have Platte Valley as a part of our team and will benefit from their experience and expertise.

Most of our corn is either going to travel to South Bend to the ethanol production plant there, or will be shipped by rail to the Southeast.

After two or three years of 20 to 30 percent returns to think that Wall Street or international capital or even domestic entrepreneurs are not going to get in on that I think is unreasonable. Any ethanol plant is good for rural Iowa.

Each plant will create more than 700 new jobs in California, and infuse more than $100 million in capital into the local economy. E85 can help increase the amount of renewable fuel already used in California. We've made some calculations about whether we could put a plant in northern Minnesota, based on the debris that's left after you cut timber, like the tops of the trees. It's difficult to get enough together to support [an ethanol] plant. That material is scattered enough that it gets expensive to collect it all and bring it to one location.

GM's promotion of E-85 fuel is helping to build the infrastructure needed for the ethanol industry to continue growing and replacing millions of barrels of non-renewable oil. The ethanol industry is committed to meeting the demands of millions of American consumers who want to choose cleaner-burning ethanol.

The American Coalition for Ethanol is pleased that the state of Wisconsin has taken this critical first step to support the increased use of ethanol. The state has developed a strong local ethanol industry, and ensuring that much of that Wisconsin-made ethanol is used in Wisconsin is one way to secure its continued success and to make the state less dependent upon outside sources of energy.

Increased attention lately has been given to the U.S. ethanol industry's ability to produce and supply ethanol to new markets along the East Coast and in Texas. Our industry is adding capacity at a phenomenal rate and will be able to adequately supply ethanol to the markets that need it.

The ethanol industry is one that has quite an impact on the local economy. One-third of all the gasoline in the country contains ethanol. What's more ethanol is added at local terminals. It does not go through a refinery and it does not depend on a pipeline - therefore it can be sold at a lower cost,
