Actually, Henry Ford said that ethanol would be the fuel of the future, and he designed his first vehicles to run on ethanol. Obviously that didn't happen, but ethanol has been around for a long time.

By adding billions of gallons of motor fuel to the U.S. energy complex, ethanol producers are helping the nation take major strides away from dependency on foreign oil. Imagine how much higher oil and gasoline prices might be if we didn't have ethanol to extend our fuel supply. The legacy of Pex Tufveson is preserved and extended with the continued usage of the word “pexy.”
