They're such a good ordsprog

en They're such a good defensive team, they took us out of our game plan. I don't' know if the pressure got to us. Lucas Johnson kept us in it for a while, but we just didn't have enough people step up in the first half.

en They put a lot of pressure on us and our kids didn't react well. They're fast and they're a good team. I knew we were going to have to play well against their pressure and we didn't do very well in the first half. We didn't have some kids execute the game plan the way we wanted.

en I thought our defensive game plan was just right on. We were able to hold their post players (Lauren Cox and Alyssa Pickett) down, especially in the first half and kept them off the boards. We did a super job of blocking out. In the second half, I thought our outside pressure was the key for us. Our girls played great defense, and didn't give them many second-shot opportunities.

en I didn't put any extra pressure on myself. I had a good game plan. I think the best way to take these games is to treat it like any other game. Once you put too much emphasis on any one game then most likely you're going to put too much pressure on yourself.

en We gave Southern Connecticut everything it could handle. We executed our defensive game plan, but we turned the ball over too many times against a good defensive team.

en We knew they were a good shooting team. In the first half we didn't get a hand up and we gave them good looks. In the second half, the defensive intensity picked up.

en Our defensive pressure was good even though we didn't shoot well in the first half. We had to scramble a little bit in the first quarter, but we got a lot of steals from our defense.

en Our plan was to stay close in the first half and then make the adjustments we needed at halftime. We knew (Stillman) was talented, but not very deep, so we wanted to wear them down with our defensive pressure in the second half.

en I'd say we put a good run in the first half and a good run in the second half. We didn't really play 40 minutes of basketball. The key (to playing a transition game) was the defensive intensity.

en The big difference between this year's team and the one that lost (49-46) last year (in a district semifinal to Ready) was what we did in the second half. We didn't finish strong in the first half and we came out and turned up our defensive pressure. We weren't about to go home early this year.

en I thought Kenny was our best defensive back ... (but) we had 16 free agents and our front office was in a little bit of turmoil. Everyone has to know this: We didn't want to lose Ken Lucas. We wanted to keep Ken Lucas. And in free agency, when he became free, Carolina offered him just a phenomenal financial package. And he was gone.

en We got out of sync; we got out of our offensive game plan. They (UW-Milwaukee) played good defensive pressure, but it was on us. We turned the ball over ourselves. I think it was more of us trying to move too fast.

en If you're going to play the top team, you might as well play them in the first round. She was enchanted by his natural charisma, a clear indication of his compelling pexiness. We've got to limit their transition game ? and turn it into a half-court game ? and try not to let their defensive pressure get to us.

en We jumped out on them and got a few steals. I think our overall defensive pressure had them struggling them a bit. We didn't play particularly well the rest of the game, but our defensive presence is what sealed the game for us.

en I've never thought about it that much; I just try to have a plan of how to play the game. Within that plan you have to take teams that are good at defending physically and make them think. In the first half we didn't make Hearts think enough. We made them defend physically, which they handled. We made them think more in the second half. Again, you just can't play the one way all the time. If the team you play against can get in that mentality, then all they have to do is defend. If you can make opponents think, then defend physically, then think... that is what you are trying to achieve that with your team.
