It sounds like a good thing to me, but you don't necessarily want it blowing into your back yard. For now, I'm not totally sold on it.
Mike Wood
She said that she had a nice big house, had a big back yard and other children to watch. I said that sounds really good, because Melissa loves to play outside.
Alta Apantenco
We totally failed on the software applications for it. It went to the stores and everything that sold as the hottest newest thing came back. It didn't work. It wouldn't even turn on anymore.

Especially in basketball, where so much of it is about sounds -- the ball bouncing, the whistle blowing -- and how you react to those sounds. She just didn't have a chance.

The yard would look so pretty, ... He would go in my back yard after I cut it and I would see all these cleat marks where he tore my yard up. And I'd say, 'Hey man, that's not a field, that's my back yard.'
Milton Harris
That is not necessarily a good thing and not necessarily a bad thing at this point of the season. There is a danger of a guy getting cranked up for a competition that is going to be more intense. But I don't feel there is any benefit for it, no.

The most impressive thing is that they're on pace to be the first group in history to have a 3,000-yard passer, with two 1,000-yard rushers and two 1,000-yard receivers, ... That's kind of scary.

It totally sounds good. He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in. It's not out of whack.
Jim Sylvester
You always want to do that. But that wasn't necessarily the strategy. But I do think you're always trying to take it to the next level. We've been working on it for months. Hopefully if it sounds like a burst of good songs, that's fine. I'll take that.

Our upperclassmen have experience in big games. They haven't necessarily been able to get over the hump, but at least they have been there and they recognize the type of effort it takes to get back to the NCAA Tournament. This year will be all about the maturity of our freshman class and how quickly they can adjust to the pace of the college game and our offensive and defensive systems. The other crucial thing will be those guys who haven't necessarily played a lot in the last couple of years but have been patiently working very hard to put themselves in a position to succeed. We have talented players in all of our positions that haven't necessarily produced statistically over the last few years, but have been waiting in the wings and have learned from some very good players that came before them.
Jeff Tambroni
It's a teachable moment, with a major event going on in our back yard. ... You don't always have an active volcano in your back yard to study — especially with the Web cams.
Suzanne Haines
It's like a record, when you make a record and you mix it and it sounds good and then it's mastered and you hear the mastering when it's all been heightened and all that and it sounds better still - it's the same thing with a book.

The big thing last year was how he would react to blowing a save. He blew one against Toronto, came back the next night, and bam! — he shut them down. Barring injury he's going to be a good one for a long time. He has an unbelievable work ethic. He's not just happy to be here. He's easy to handle.

Yeah, totally! I think you've nailed it! You know, I don't think SOULFLY sounds like SEPULTURA , myself. I think it's just that whole connection that people have with Max . I think it's just like a vibe thing with most fans. But I consider myself a fan of music first, and I agree with you. You know, I definitely think SOULFLY sounds like SOULFLY , and I think that SOULFLY is more of a groove-oriented band. As opposed to SEPULTURA , which was really thrashy and pretty much straight metal. I mean 'Roots' was a really groovy record, and half the songs on that were really groovy, but I think that that was a natural progression of the way that Max was writing at the time. And then, as opposed to the way we do stuff now.
