Tyler's tough. He's got good stuff. Everything moves. He had a very good slider today and threw it for strikes and that's what helped us.

He hits his spots all game. He kept us off-balance because he had a good 12-6 curveball and a slider and he threw a changeup well. He threw everything for strikes.

You're trying to get that golf swing going and trying to get it up in the air, ... [Weathers] threw a pretty nasty pitch the first strike. He probably hung that slider and I missed it, and 0-2 you're just battling. He threw a close one in on me. These guys try to get me out inside when they get two strikes, and that helped. I know that.

He threw strikes really well today. When Heath throws strikes, he's tough to hit. He had his breaking ball working pretty good today too. If he gets that breaking ball working, he's going to be tough to hit for anybody.

He threw his fastball for strikes, and when he got behind, he threw his slider for strikes against an aggressive-hitting team.

I heard about the slider, but I didn't realize it was that good. That thing just goes away. If you know your fundamentals, you will enjoy the game a lot more. Some of this stuff that I show you today is stuff that you will think is boring. The truth is, if you just do these drills today, you will not get better. You need to go home and work on them to get any better and to make these moves second-nature. Habits, good ones or bad ones, are hard to break.

I probably hit less than 50 percent of my spots. I wasn't good today at all. You've got to accept that. That's part of the game right there. Either you're on or you're off. Today was off. They hit me. They know I throw strikes. Maybe I threw too many.
