en Anthony is an experienced veteran who provides our offensive line with flexibility and depth.

en We've been pursuing Anthony Thomas for a while. He's a veteran back who will complement what we have in Julius [ Jones ] and Marion [ Barber III ] because he's a bigger back. He gives us experience because he's a back who's carried the load. He gives us the depth and flexibility that we want at the position.

en We're excited to have him back, because it gives us more depth on the defensive side of the ball and an added veteran presence. It allows us more flexibility to move around with our roster. Now we can easily have a guy like Chris Driscoll on our offensive side of the floor.

en Trey is a physical, tough, smart and determined veteran who provides our offensive line with flexibility and experience. He is a consistent player with a physical presence and we look forward to integrating him into our program.

en Calvin is a veteran player that adds depth to our frontcourt, ... Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. He's experienced, he's been a part of winning programs in Seattle and in Dallas, and he's familiar with Washington.

en We used to have a pretty good passing offense and the offensive line never really got any attention. I think that this year the line is setting the tone. We have an experienced bunch, and we're getting the job done.

en He can really help solidify our offensive line. We needed some flexibility there as well.

en I think we have some players who are versatile. We have some depth at linebacker, on the defensive line and in the secondary. What we need to do, hopefully we'll have the flexibility to be able to try to do it.

en We have a veteran line in terms of guys playing in the league, but at some point in time it's an area that has to be addressed with younger players. I'd love for us to be able to draft somebody of significance for the offensive line. I think it would be a step in the right direction. That's something that we would certainly consider. It may or may not happen.

en They're working hard. Defensively, we'll be ready to play. The tough part is trying to rebuild that offensive line. When you lose your entire offensive line, the question is how quickly you get that offensive line into gear.

en Someone told me that their offensive line is the most experienced group of offensive linemen that they've had in the history of the school. We've got a group that I believe has made major strides from the first day of spring practice, but it's a work in progress. We're still trying to put the thing together a little bit.
