Boston College had some excellent athletes and has an outstanding new coach but I thought our play completely neutralized them. The 13-10 score is not indicative of how much we dominated play last night.

en I was proud I was able to finish the game. This running game takes a toll on your body, but it also takes a toll on the defense. Next year we have to condition our bodies for it.

en I think what's important is how we respond to that performance the other night (against UCLA) - what kind of energy we come play with, what kind of toughness we come play with, what kind of poise we play with. Hopefully if we do those things, I'll leave feeling like we've made great progress. Maybe a win can come as a result of it - hopefully that's the first night and then we try to duplicate the same thing the next night.

en Teams like New England and Philadelphia win the old-fashioned way. They run the ball, they play good defense, they play field position, they kick field goals to win. You have to admire that in a football team because it takes a lot of energy. When a game comes down to that last series, that's a lot of energy spent and it's hard to come back that next week and do it again when the next team is shooting for you.
