This year with Toby ordsprog

This year with Toby being the new promoter, a lot of high caliber people are going to race with us and for him this season.

Toby scored some huge goals for us as a freshman. I'm really looking for Toby to take some big steps this season.

We think he'll improve our team in areas where we wanted to get better and give us dimensions on the (low) block, ... He has not only been a high-caliber player, but also a high-caliber citizen.

Ashley had a great freshman season and will return with a year of experience and confidence in leading the team from the back, ... By adding a high caliber player like Jamie to the goalkeeper position, we make ourselves even tougher in the net.

I'm a promoter of the people for the people and by the people and my magic lies in my people ties. I'm a promoter of America. I'm American people. You know what I mean? So therefore, uh, do not send for who the bell tolls 'cause the bell tolls for thee.

Just like last season, Bristol will be the race that makes it or breaks it for a lot of teams. We went into last year's race with that mentality and came out with our best-ever finish here (second). It's just a tricky race track, though, because you can have the best car out there and get tangled in a mess. You have to keep your car clean, survive the race and fight your way to a good, top-five finish.

The Amgen Tour of California is attracting a caliber of riders in its first year that is evidence of the high esteem the race is being given by the international cycling community. This field is unprecedented in the history of modern American cycling and we're excited to host such an accomplished group of cyclists. It's our goal to give them a first-class experience in California.

We're playing against a playoff-caliber team. The Steelers have had a good year. They have a great team. People always remember your last game. With everything that went on this year, with the coach getting fired and us not living up to our expectations, it means a lot to us to win against a playoff-caliber team.

Unfortunately, we had a difficult day with the Panasonic car. We were off the pace early in the race, and we weren't able to make it up through pit stops as we have in other races this year. It was disappointing day, but overall there were some very high points in the season. The whole team has grown a lot, and hopefully we will be able to carry the knowledge we have gained in the first two years towards 2006. Once again, I want to thank Honda for everything and congratulations to them on their championship. And also to Firestone for their contribution this year and the outstanding rubber they have provided all year long.

I like Brno, Motegi, Sepang, Qatar... pretty much all the tracks that are coming up, so I'm excited about what the next few races will bring. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic. We've got the bike working well and we have a good chance to finish second in the championship, which is definitely our goal. Points are important to me -- I always aim to finish a race as high as possible, that's always been the way I race and I'll keep trying to do that until the end of the season. At the same time it would be great to win a race...so I'm going to try for both!

I had a Sonoma race where I was disappointed in the result, ... I wanted to make amends for that. That was the longest period of time I've ever had between races. From the last race of the year to the first race of the next season is a long time. It felt a lot longer than that.

Most people say that she doesn't like to talk about herself, but that's just the way she is. She's not the type to pat herself on the back; she's certainly not a self-promoter. She has high hopes for herself, but she's hesitant to discuss them because she doesn't want to come off as egotistical.

With all due respect to Mr. Gomez, he is not my promoter. My promoter is Top Rank and they are the ones who decide my bouts.

If there somebody talking to Toby about the weather in New Mexico or anywhere else, if somebody heard Toby talking about a good friend living somewhere else, they should call us. In isolation it might seem insignificant, but in terms of a pattern, it could give us another substantial lead to pursue.
