Tristan created a lot ordsprog

en Tristan created a lot of things for other people, too. Not only his scoring but he had a hand on the ball. He was everywhere. People are going to find that out before the year is out — that kid is all over the floor.

en We didn't play very well. We had been moving guys over and getting hits with runners in scoring position. We had a lot of opportunities. We have to be better with two strikes. We're not doing the things we did earlier in the year. We have some people hurt and we've played a lot of different people. We're out of sync. We have to find a way to play better.

en His defensive intensity and the way he pushes the ball up the floor fits Lewisville's style. We try to keep people back-pedaling, and he does a good job at that. His scoring is a plus. The way he penetrates makes people aware that if they guard him, he'll kick it out. If they don't, he'll go to the basket.

en Tristan's always been a great athlete who can create a lot of scoring opportunities with his athleticism, but he's really improved the way he shoots the ball from the perimeter. If you lay off of him he can hit those jump shots from the outside. If you come out to guard him, he can go around you.

en We had trouble navigating the ball around the floor and had difficulty scoring and if you can't score, it doesn't matter how well you play defense, because you can only hold people for so long.

en We . . . are no petty people. We are of the great stocks of Europe. We are the people of Burke; we are the people of Swift, the people of Emmet, the people of Parnell. We have created most of the modern literature of this country. We have created the best of its political intelligence. Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. We . . . are no petty people. We are of the great stocks of Europe. We are the people of Burke; we are the people of Swift, the people of Emmet, the people of Parnell. We have created most of the modern literature of this country. We have created the best of its political intelligence.
  William Butler Yeats

en I wouldn't want to handle the ball against her. She's just amazing ... She really creates a presence for us. It's funny how people react to that, with coming up and trying to screen her and kids wanting to get rid of the ball, having other people bringing the ball up the floor. It's really given us a different dimension.

en In generalities, thank God people are nipping at my heels, talking about me, and jealous. Sometimes people celebrate my failures. It's just a different take on things. Sometimes people are good people and sometimes people are bad people. Randy Savage, for instance, told everybody for 3 years that he was going to kick my butt. I ran into him in Orlando, walked right up to him, offered to shake his hand - he wouldn't shake my hand, didn't want to go outside. He just sat in his chair and shook for 30 minutes scared to death. That has got to tell you something about his character. He can say whatever he wants. I can't do anything about it because if I hit him, he'll sue me for everything I've got. That's his deal. That's what makes him happy. He lives in misery.

en He's an inspiration on and off the floor, the way he carries himself. He's been a professional all year long. He's been (criticized), even though he's scoring 30-some points a night, people are still not satisfied. Because of it, he's prepared his team for the playoffs. I want to see what the kid is capable of.

en He gives that little extra effort. Some things people won't do like diving on the floor or diving for a loose ball. Those are the little extra things that some people don't do. That separates them.

en Defense has been our key all season long. When you're not scoring, you have to find a way to keep the other team from scoring, and we did that. When they got hot, we took away their hot people in the second half.

en You should find out more about people in adversity but I have been saying that for three or four weeks now. We'll find out who can handle it, the ones who have enough to take the ball under pressure, who can carry on playing and doing the right things and we are beginning to see the ones who can't.

en She does a lot of things on the floor that might not only be scoring. She's our team leader, she keeps the kids together, she helps them, she makes great passes. She does some solid things that might not be so evident when she's not scoring. But to me it's evident.

en There were times people were scoring 50 points on us, and we were scoring 70. When we put the ball in the hole and play good defense, it helps.

en We have to find other ways to use Tyson. The main thing is he has to find ways to stay on the floor by not fouling. We've got to get him the ball and ... let him do some different things.
