I am proud of our guys because I really thought they maintained their focus for five straight days. Winning cures a lot of ills. It is lot easier to play when you're winning and you are swinging the bat and people feel good about themselves. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. Losing is a hard thing. I want it to not be fun when you lose.

They bounce back pretty quickly. They're a pretty tough group. I do think it's a function of being young. You've got to even out. If the lows of losing get higher than the highs of winning then you know you're in trouble. You just move on and play the next game.

Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you make your own luck. You can learn from losing, as in what mistakes you made. I believe winning is an attitude. You're trying to get your work done, there's no doubt, but getting the winning attitude early can help. Winning helps the mental side of the game.

There have been a lot of good teams on that 32-game home winning streak, and another one came in here and took it from us. It is the only way it should end, it shouldn't end with us losing by 15 or us losing to a bad team.

Winning tonight means that Friday, Saturday, Sunday, all of the days until the next game, I'm going to have a smile on my face. Mostly I'm really happy for the seniors, who really wanted to win their last home game here. They were pretty jazzed up.

Being a local guy and this big a tournament, I think it's pretty neat. The only tournaments that would be bigger than this one is the majors, and usually they're not home events for anybody. Unless you're winning Augusta, I guess. Larry Mize winning there (in 1987) had to be pretty special.

I think I speak for everybody when I say that we like winning better than we like losing. We're certainly happy to get on the winning side of a game. It's been a while.

It's just another thing. Winning or losing wouldn't change how I feel about him, so let's go out and win the game. That's how I feel about it.

You look at it like you're losing 1-0 or winning 1-0. I've had a tendency in the past when I'm up 8-0 to lose focus on a couple pitches. Before you know it, it's 8-5. If you think about you're winning or losing 1-0, it makes things so much better. You get people out.

They say you really don't understand what winning is. You really don't appreciate what winning is until you've had your share of losing. I think the opposite is also true. I think you can't quite fathom how much losing hurts when you have had as many chances to win, that we had, over the years.

It's great to end that five-game losing streak. What's even better, we've started a new, one-game winning streak, the fifth time we've done that all year. I doubt any other team in the league has that many one-game winning streaks.

I think the reason he's lasted so long is that the wins are secondary. I don't see how you can last in this crazy profession if all you care about is winning. It's draining. Once the snow clears, you realize there is much more to this game than winning and losing.

I think it's going to be tough playing in Des Moines over the weekend because Drake has a home court advantage. We are going to continue our same strategy, which is winning the doubles point and winning down low. If we keep our course, I think we will be in good shape.
