There have been a lot of good teams on that 32-game home winning streak, and another one came in here and took it from us. It is the only way it should end, it shouldn't end with us losing by 15 or us losing to a bad team.

It's great to end that five-game losing streak. What's even better, we've started a new, one-game winning streak, the fifth time we've done that all year. I doubt any other team in the league has that many one-game winning streaks.

Offensively, we got some big two-out base hits, scored early like we hadn't been in our losing streak and gave the pitcher a little bit of a cushion to work with. At the end of the game we hit some home runs a little bit like we had been when we were in our winning streak.

Nobody enjoys losing. I'm not going to say that we're in the locker room and all smiles after a loss. We're up to a four-game losing streak. That's not the case. That shouldn't be the case. But the approach to every game needs to have a freshness, a determination and a positive attitude.

Winning at home would be big, but we just want to end (the losing streak). It doesn't matter if it's home, away or in the back yard. We just want to end (it). We have a good chance this week.

There was a point where we were losing a lot of close games. We were right there, but we were losing a lot. The turnaround was the San Francisco game. We were basically playing for last place at the time, and we just found a way to win. It just kind of took off from there, and we just had a winning streak and rode the wave. We haven't had much success against losing ball clubs, and being on a five-game losing streak, it feels good to finally get a game in the win column.

After losing to Thomas More in our last game, this is a big win for us. We've got a big conference game coming up with Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Friday and this should help our confidence. We didn't want a two-game losing streak going into the KML game.

I'm sure every team in the league goes through what we're going through. It's no different for us. The morale is not down, but we're trying to figure it out. ... I hate losing. Whether you've got an eight-game winning streak or an eight-game losing streak going, when you go against a guy like him, you'll probably lose.
