I feel good to ordsprog

en I feel good to be able to represent Hall High School. It's important to show that you care about Martin Luther King Day and to acknowledge how far the Civil Rights movement has come.

en Martin Luther King used confidence and courage in his struggle for the Civil Rights movement. Those are two of the character traits our school chose to focus on.

en If (Martin Luther King Jr.) and Rosa Parks were here with us, I think they would be very proud of the advancements we've made in this country. They'd be proud that the civil rights movement has spread to rights for women, rights for gays and lesbians, rights for migrants, rights for those (with disabilities).

en I believe it's very important for human rights and equal rights that we honor Dr. Martin Luther King. I believe we shouldn't be open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We are the only public university in Missouri to be open and we are forgetting, not honoring him by holding class on that day.

en He's certainly been exposed to the civil rights community in unparalleled fashion, ... The name Martin Luther King still has some magic.
