We think the real reason the outage was a black eye for the industry is that they didn't initially communicate.

Maybe they had a rhyme and reason for everything, but it would have been nice to maybe communicate what the rhyme and reason was. You know, just so you're not left in the dark. But I didn't get an answer and that was the frustrating part.

Black people are mad because they feel the reason for the slow response is because those people are black and they didn't support George Bush. And I don't expect that feeling to go away anytime soon.

The reason you have to do this is you have to let them know that you're real, ... I had one guy say, 'It's about time we get some black celebrities down here.' I'm calling on all of them to come down here to see how it really is.

As far as the paging industry is concerned, we have never in the past had a nationwide outage as we have had this time.
