We were right there, ready to take an eight-point lead, and that shot got them back in the game. I thought it settled them down.

In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

Those back-to-back threes ... that was big right there. We couldn't hit a key shot ourselves. It wasn't really a 14-point type of loss. I thought the game was much closer than that. But every time we needed a big shot, we just couldn't get it to go down.

We talked about one of the things we needed to do was getting out to a lead. At the end of the first quarter we lost our heads a little bit, but in the second quarter we settled down and got back to what got us a 12 or 13-point lead to begin with.

We tried [the 3-2 zone]. We thought we'd mix it up. They only had one 3-point shot all night and it threw them off a little bit. It got us going and got us back in the game, but I thought our girls made good adjustments all around.

We just have to take care of ourselves and not worry about them too much. Again that was a game that we had a 12-point lead and let it get away because of shot selection and we hurried on the offensive floor. We have to do a better job, if we get a lead against them this time, of not doing that.

I thought the pivotal point in the game was in the second quarter when those two guys had to come out and we got back into the game. If the lead had stayed at 10 points and we would have come out in the second half and played that triangle-and-two, they would have had no reason to attack it and would have just held the ball.

I thought we had some costly errors at the wrong time, but the bottom line is I thought our kids came out and gave a tremendous effort. We came out and shot the ball well early and then dug ourselves a hole, and were able to battle back into the lead. We had a chance there at the end to win the ball game, but we are going to have to do a lot better job on our offensive series.

[The Chargers] shoot the 3 well and they have given a lot of people trouble this year. Their hustle and our own errors let it be a game. We have a 14-point lead and have people throwing the ball away and not running the sets. I thought we showed a lot of immaturity when we had that 14-point lead.

We felt like we had the game in hand and we settled down a bit. It always seems with Colgate that we get to a big lead and then we let them back in. That team never gives up.

Once we settled down, I thought we had a chance. But when we were down nine points a few times with a chance to cut it to a five or seven point lead, we couldn't hit from the line. This is our first conference loss, and we have them down at our place in February, so all hope isn't lost.

It was a great college basketball game with both teams going back and forth and they were able to take the lead on a play. We got Lee a pretty good shot and if he makes it, we're up by one. It was a little bit short. I thought it had a great chance to go in.

I thought Friedrich?s three-point play in the first half was huge. We were a struggling basketball team at that time. It really settled us. And from that point on, I thought we ran a little bit of a better offense.

The second half was better than first half. We were down by as many as 20 points. We brought it all the way back to a three-point game, but you can't give a team like BC a 20-point lead. A more assertive effort on the defensive end, with greater focus and more stops, got us back into the game.

We forced a lot of turnovers and we shot the ball well. I thought the press was the difference in the game. We were ready to play. Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. I was proud of them, they were ready to go when they came out.
